The handle, a four-section telescoping blade that nests inside it, and a cap that covers the handle opening and locks the blade in. Show it fully extended, or keep it fully collapsed.

Two ways to show it. The blade sits either all the way out or all the way inside the handle.

Raised diagonal wrap over a scale-textured grip, with a round open-work tsuba.

All four blade sections nest inside the handle, and the cap closes it up.

Fukutsu has three parts: the handle, a four-section telescoping blade, and a cap. The blade lives inside the handle until you want it out.

All four blade sections nest inside the handle. The cap covers the handle opening and locks the blade in.
The four sections slide out to the blade’s full length, ready for your desk, a shelf, or a cosplay.
Slide the blade all the way back into the handle and close it with the cap to store it or carry it in your con bag.

Fukutsu started as a simple challenge: fit a whole katana on a small printer’s bed. The answer was to fold the blade into itself. The name means an unbreakable spirit — the kind it takes to reprint a design until it works.
Adult desk toy and cosplay prop. Not a toy for children under 12. Blunt plastic, no edge or point. Not a weapon.
